The BIN-RDI Policy Initiative

As a center for the crafting of bio-info-nano policy positions, BIN-RDI also will explore the potential ethical and socio-economic impact of these emerging technologies on society. Models and simulations will identify and mitigate risks that could affect the pace and sustainability of new energy solutions deployment.

Technology Policy Workshops: The BIN-RDI is initiating a series of workshops to address the structures required for sustainable technological innovation around biotechnology, information technology and nanotechnology. Experts will engage in ongoing discussion to review developments in a social context – the impact on society and the opportunities to build trust in public policy initiatives.
